Dear Torpedo Parents,

As we prepare for our upcoming swim meet, I wanted to share some important reminders and updates with you:

1. Swimmer Declaration: Today is the deadline for declaring your swimmer for the upcoming meet against the Village Otters on May 18, 2024. Please ensure you declare your swimmer by the end of today to help us finalize our roster. Even if you're unsure about your attendance, please declare your swimmer as attending. It's much easier to remove a swimmer than to add one after both teams merge their rosters for the meet on Thursday. Let's make sure our team is well-prepared by declaring early each week.
2. Theme for This Week's Meet: The 2000's: Get ready to travel back to the dawn of the new millennium with a blast from the past! Our theme for this week's meet is the 2000's. Dust off your best 2000's fashion and relive the iconic trends of the era. Let's make a splash with our nostalgic outfits and embrace the spirit of the early 2000s!
3. First Away Meet of the Season: This weekend, we'll be competing in our first away meet of the season against the Village Otters. As guests at their pool, it's important that we represent our team with respect. Please remember to clean up after yourselves and leave the facilities as we found them. More information regarding address, parking, swimmer check-in, and other details will be sent out on Friday.
4. Volunteer Opportunities: We still have opportunities available for volunteers to help with various aspects of the meet. Your assistance is greatly appreciated in making our events run smoothly. Please sign up for volunteer roles if you haven't already done so.
5. Additional Chocolate Sales: If you're interested in selling more chocolate to support the team, there will be a board member available during practice to handle distribution. Remember there are prizes for the top sellers!!!
