Dear Torpedo Parents,

As we gear up for another exciting swim meet weekend, I wanted to send out a few important reminders to ensure everything runs smoothly. Please take a moment to review the following information:

1. Swimmer Declaration: Remember to declare your swimmer before every Wednesday by 11 pm each week before our swim meet. Even if you're unsure about your attendance, please declare your swimmer as attending. It's much easier to remove a swimmer than to add one after both teams merge their rosters for the meet on Thursday. Let's make sure our team is well-prepared by declaring early each week.
2. Volunteer Opportunities: We still need several volunteers for this weekend's meet. If you haven't had a chance to sign up yet, please consider taking this opportunity to help the team. Your assistance is invaluable in making our events successful and enjoyable for everyone involved.
3. Theme for This Weekend's Meet: Our theme for this weekend's meet is "Wear Your Favorite Color!" Show your team spirit by wearing your favorite color from head to toe. Let's bring some vibrant energy to the pool deck!
4. Concession Stand Updates: Our concession stand will be serving freshly made food, drinks, and snacks throughout the meet. Last week, our Breakfast tacos from Tacos Tacos sold out early, so be sure to grab yours before they're gone. Tacos Tacos is not only one of our team sponsors but also a two-time category winner in the Crosby 411 Cream of the Crop Awards for Best Tacos and Best Taco Truck. Additionally, we'll have freshly smoked pulled pork sandwiches and newly available air-fried French fries. Don't miss out on these delicious offerings! Your support at our concession stand is crucial as it serves as a major fundraiser for our team. Please note that while we accept all credit cards, we prefer cash as it helps us save on credit card processing fees. 
5. First Dual Meet of the Season: Our first dual meet of the season will be at home against the Royal Brook Rays, a new team in our division. Let's extend a warm welcome to them while reminding them that we own the water. Let's show them our Torpedo spirit and make sure they know they'll be swimming in our wake!
