Fellow Torpedoe Parents,

As we bring an end to the exhilarating Newport Torpedoes' swim season 2023, I wanted to take a moment to express my immense pride and extend my heartfelt congratulations to all our dedicated swimmers. Your hard work, determination, and teamwork have paid off, and we have achieved remarkable success together!

First and foremost, I would like to commend each and every one of our swimmers for their outstanding performances at the Ponderosa and Trinity Invitational swim meets. It is with great pleasure that I announce that we remained undefeated throughout the season, a testament to your exceptional talent and unwavering commitment.

Additionally, I am thrilled to announce that we secured the Divisional Championship for the second consecutive year! This incredible achievement reflects the combined efforts of our entire team, both in and out of the water. Congratulations on this momentous accomplishment!

I would also like to extend my warmest congratulations to Logan Ashby and Kyle Beylotte, who have been named as the first annual scholarship winners. Your hard work, dedication, and academic achievements have not gone unnoticed. I would also like to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to funding these scholarships. Your generosity and support are deeply appreciated.

Looking ahead, I would like to request your continued support for the upcoming swim season. Please consider contributing to our scholarship fund once again, as it will enable us to help more deserving seniors pursue higher education. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these young individuals and empower them to achieve their dreams.

A sincere thank you goes out to all the officials who worked tirelessly throughout the season. Your expertise and dedication ensured that our swim meets ran smoothly, and we are grateful for your invaluable contributions.

To all the parents who volunteered their time and efforts, I cannot emphasize enough how essential your contributions were to the success of our swim meets. Without your selfless support, none of this would have been possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Looking ahead to next year, please mark your calendars as swim season sign-ups will begin in March, followed by practices commencing in April. We will be creating a new Remind page for better communication, and I urge everyone to join the new page using the class code "@nptsw."

I would also like to take this opportunity to express my deepest appreciation to Coach Kaleigh for her exceptional dedication and hard work with our swimmers. Your guidance and expertise have been instrumental in their growth and achievements. Thank you, Coach Kaleigh, for your unwavering commitment to our team's success.

Finally, as we bid farewell to the 2023 swim season, I hope you all have a fantastic summer filled with relaxation and rejuvenation. Take this time to recharge your batteries and return next year with even greater determination and enthusiasm.
