Dear Parents,

Congratulations to our amazing young swimmers on their recent victory against the Oaks Olympians. The final score of Oaks Olympians 376 to Newport Torpedoes 931 reflects the incredible progress and hard work our swimmers have achieved. We should all be immensely proud of their dedication and achievements in the pool.

As we continue to support the growth of our young athletes, I want to inform you about some important updates and reminders.

1. Memorial Day Observance: There will be NO practice on Monday, May 29th, in observance of Memorial Day. Let us take this day to honor and remember the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
2. Summer Practice Schedule: Starting from May 30th, our summer practice schedule will be as follows:

   Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays:

   • Regular practice schedule times

   Wednesdays and Fridays:

   • 13 and up: 7am-8am
   • 8 and under: 8am-8:30am
   • 9-10: 8:30-9:15am
   • 11-12: 9:15-10am
3. Summer Champs Invitationals: We have received an invitation for the Summer Champs meet, and we are thrilled to announce that 100 of our swimmers have qualified to participate.  But only 37 have signed up so far. Don't miss out on this great opportunity for your swimmer. The deadline to decide whether your child will participate is tonight - Sunday, May 28th, at midnight. This information needs to be submitted to the host team promptly. Diana will be collecting the participation fees during the upcoming week. Please note the following details:
   • Individual event fee: $6 per event
   • Relay events: The team will cover the cost for relay entries.
   • Fee refund policy: Once you commit and pay the fees, there will be no refunds, even if your child does not end up swimming.
