I hope this email finds you and your family doing well. As we gear up for another exciting swim season, I wanted to remind you to sign up your child for the Newport Torpedoes Swim Team again this year. Registration is open till April 17th. Not only is swimming a great way to stay active and healthy, but being on a swim team can provide numerous benefits for your child both in and out of the pool.

Here are just a few reasons why your child should continue swimming with Newport Torpedoes:

1. Improved Physical Health: Swimming is a low-impact sport that provides a full-body workout. It can help improve cardiovascular health, build strength and endurance, and promote better sleep patterns (which parent doesn't want their child to sleep better?!).
2. Social Interaction: Being part of a team can help your child develop social skills, make new friends, and build strong relationships with their teammates and coaches.
3. Goal Setting and Achievement: Swimming requires a lot of discipline and hard work, and being part of a team can help your child set and achieve goals, both in and out of the pool.
4. Time Management Skills: Swimming with a team can help your child develop time management skills as they learn to balance their schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and swim practices and meets.
5. Fun and Excitement: Lastly, being part of a swim team can be a lot of fun! Your child will have the opportunity to travel to new places (we do not travel very far), meet new people, and participate in exciting swim meets and competitions.

As you can see, there are numerous benefits to being part of the Newport Torpedoes Swim Team. If you haven't already, please sign up your child for the team as soon as possible. We look forward to having your child on the team again this year and working together to achieve their goals.
